Umbra Ensemble

Umbra Ensemble performs Icelandic folk songs in their own arrangements, along with original compositions featuring lyrics drawn in part from medieval literature. The focus will be on music from their album Bjargrúnir, as well as new material.

Audiences can expect an intimate experience where Icelandic poetic tradition and storytelling are explored through music and spoken word.

The concert is in the living room at the museum Sunday 22nd June at 16.00.
Tickets cost 3,900 ISK and can be purchased at the Laxness museum’s reception on the concert day.
