To You, St. Mary
23/06 2026To You, St. Mary is a program in which Mary the Mother of God appears to the audience through artistic creation, music and poetry. The needlework from Reykjahlíð (15th century) is connected to ecclesiastical songs of Mary from Icelandic manuscripts, the Marian saga from the 14th century, Sonja B. Jónsdóttir's poetry book "In the darkness I turned to Mary" and music by the Italian nun and composer Isabella Leonarda.
The performers, Diljá Sigursveinsdóttir, Anna Hugadóttir, Sólveig Thoroddsen and Sergio Coto Blanco are all members of Kammerhópurinn Reykjavík barrok.
Everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy the show on Sunday, june 28 at 4:00pm. The concert begins at 4:00 PM, and admission is 3,900 ISK. Tickets are sold at the Gljúfrasteinn reception.
