Gissur Páll tenor

The Gljúfrasteinn concert series celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year. Gissur Páll Gissurarson tenor and Árni Heiðar Karlsson pianist will perform the first concert this summer, Sunday 7th June. The two have worked together for almost twenty years. The intimacy between the audience and the performers at concerts like this is unique and magical. Gljúfrasteinn will once again be filled with the warmth and joy that Auður and Halldór Laxness created at their many concert performances. Gissur Páll and Árni Heiðar will perform some of their favorite solo songs with lyrics by Halldór Laxness and other poets.

Admission is 3,900 ISK and tickets are sold at Gljúfrastein - Laxness Museum reception on the day of the concert.
