Audio tours

Audio tours are available during opening hours in English, Swedish, Danish and German. Visitors can soak in the atmosphere of the house where the writer Halldór Laxness and his family lived. Visitors can also explore the garden and its surroundings, enjoy the house and its excellent collection of Icelandic art works and design furniture as they take in the spirit of this incomparable writer. 

Guided tours with a member of staff can also be arranged if requested.
