This year marks 70 years since Halldór Laxness received the Nobel Prize in Literature.

This year marks 70 years since Halldór Laxness received the Nobel Prize in Literature. On this occasion, Gljúfrasteinn, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Iceland and the National and University Library of Iceland, has organized an exhibition of Laxness’s Nobel Prize in the National Library.

The exhibition is at the National and University Library of Iceland runs until December 19th and is open every weekday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located in the exhibition space on the 1st floor of the library.
