In June, July and August, Gljúfrasteinn - Laxness Museum, hosts weekly concerts. The concerts are held Sundays at 4 pm and admittance is 2500 ISK.

June 2nd Icelandic singer/songwriter legend, Bubbi, performs a selection of new and older songs.
June 9th Nicola Lolli, the concert master of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason, conductor and pianist, perform a program by Stravinsky and Schumann for violin and piano.
June 16th Pianist Gunnar Gunnarsson and bassist Tómas R. Einarsson play a mix of Nordic folksongs, traditional jazz standards and latin music.
June 23rd Singer Ragnheiður Gröndal and guitarist Guðmundur Pétursson play a mix of jazz and traditional songs, written by Ragnheiður.
June 30th GDRN performs some of her popular pop tunes in a special arrangements.
July 7th Jófríður Ákadóttir (JFDR) brings new lofi versions of her experimantal pop music.
July 14th Guðný Guðmundsdóttir and Cary Lewis perform two sonatas for violin and piano by J. S. Bach and Cesar Franck.
July 21st Schola cantorum will perform a wide range of Icelandic choral compositions, from medieval music to traditional songs, with lyrics from the poetry of Hallgrímur Pétursson and Halldór Laxness
July 28th Jóhann Kristinsson and Ammiel Bushakevit will perform a variety of compositions for baritone voice and piano.
August 4th Moses Hightower create a smooth and relaxed atmosphere with their iconic R&B vibes.
