In June, July and August, Gljúfrasteinn - Laxness Museum, hosts weekly concerts. The concerts are held Sundays at 4 pm and admittance is 2500 ISK.

3rd June Icelandic singer/songwriter legend, Megas, joins guitarist Kristinn H. Árnason for a unique concert.
10th June Icleandic indie artist Teitur Magnússon creates a relaxed and positive energy with his summery melodies and mellow folksongs.
17th June Jazz-trumpeter Ari Bragi and pianist Eyþór Gunnarsson, go on an improvised journey.
24th June Umbra Ensemble perform their own arrangements of medieval and traditional songs from Iceland and continental Europe.
1st July Kristinn Sigmundsson and Anna Guðný Guðmundsdóttir will perform a variety of music for bass voice and piano.
8th July Vocalist Ragnhildur Gísladóttir and guitarist Björgvin Gíslason play an innovative set with unconventional arrangements for electric bass guitar and sitar.
15th July Vocal and guitar duo Ylja, comprised of female artists Bjartey and Gígja, perform ethereal harmonic pieces.
22nd July Hamrahlid Youth Choir perform songs with lyrics from the poetry of Halldór Laxness.
29th July Soprano Diddú and pianist Helga Bryndís Magnúsdóttir celebrate Auður Laxness´100th Anniversaty with a special program deticated to the Lady of Gljúfrasteinn.
5th August The Icelandic folk music duo Vísur & Skvísur present evocative performances of traditional nordic compositions.
12th August The punk-inflected children´s music band Pollapönk performs a fun and engaging program suitable for the whole family.
19th August Bryndís Halla Gylfadóttir performs suites for unaccompanied cello by Johann Sebastian Bach.
26th August Conductor and multi musician, Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason, closes the summer program by performing a selection of Laxness´piano sheet music.
