The Final Living Room Concert of the Summer – Valdimar & Örn Perform Icelandic Classics

The last living room concert of the summer at Laxness Museum takes place on Sunday, August 31 at 4 PM. We bid farewell to the season in style as beloved musicians Valdimar Guðmundsson and Örn Eldjárn Kristjánsson fill the living room with Icelandic treasures.
Valdimar Guðmundsson has quickly become one of Iceland’s most cherished singers. He first captured the nation’s attention with the album Undraland alongside his band Valdimar, and has since performed a wide range of songs that have found their way to the top of the country’s radio charts.
Örn Eldjárn Kristjánsson draws deep inspiration from Icelandic nature. A composer since his teenage years, he has played guitar and bass with a variety of bands and artists, including Tilbury, Júníus Meyvant, and Snorri Helgason.
Together, Valdimar and Örn have in recent years created intimate and heartfelt programs, blending songs Valdimar has performed with his band with some of the duo’s personal favorites.

We look forward to celebrating a wonderful summer with you at Laxness Museum!

Admission: 3,900 ISK – tickets sold at the museum reception on the day of the concert.
